FAREWELL DUBE


Saharan Vibe today mourns the sudden demise of Lucky Dube who was killed in an attempted car-jacking as he dropped his children off at a relative's house in the Rosettenville suburb of Johannesburg. The incidence occurred at approximately 8pm on the 18th of October. Police reports suggest he was shot dead by carjackers in front of his son and daughter. He is survived by his wife, Zanele, and his seven children.

I cant believe you are gone Lucky.

    I saw the news on the BBC. This is absolute madness. Imagine someone like Dube fought for people of South Africa via music and it took some jackass (a South African) to end his life over a freaking car. My God, what’s next?

    Governement is for people, so let the justice take its action about the culprits to protect innocent citizens, the most painful thing is that Reggae man Dube will be missed with his spiritual music
